Straighteners, Curlers, incorrect hair brushes, colour, bleach, over washing, towel drying, diet.. These are just some of the causes of hair damage.
Over the Christmas period your hair has likely endured some harsh treatment in an effort to have it looking it's best. This is why we have decided to deep dive into our favourite hair treatment and give you an insight into exactly how it works. No better time than the New Year to treat your hair and start afresh so give us a call in either of our salons and we would would be delighted to give you more information.
The only salon system that rebuilds broken hair bonds. OLAPLEX links broken bonds in the hair before, during and after chemical services and produces incredibly healthy hair.
What is involved in the treatment?
It is a three step process:
Step 1: Bond Multiplier - In Salon only
This first step works to rebuild broken disulfide bonds and begins the process of preventing damage and repairing hair.
This can be used alone as a treatment or mixed in with your colour.
Step 2: Bond Perfector - In Salon only
The second step continues to rebuild and restore any remaining broken bonds ensuring the strongest, shiniest, and healthiest hair possible.
This is applied for at least 20 minutes after step one has been washed out.
Step 3: At home hair Protector
This final step provides continuous protection from ongoing damage at home and works like a leave in treatment pre washing. We recommend using this once a week. Apply it to damp hair, comb through, and leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes although Kim Kardashian and vlogger Lydia Elise Millen have been known to recommend leaving it in overnight
Who else recommends OLAPLEX
Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, Blake Lively, Gweneth Paltrow are just some of the celebrities who swear by Olaplex treatments. Remember when Kim went from jet black to blonde? Well she put this down to using OLAPLEX to ensure she didn't destroy her hair.
If you are interested in trying out OLAPLEX give us a call to book it in as a stand alone treatment or alongside your colour in either Malahide or Ballyboughal.
